PAPER MARIO IS FUN. TOMODACHI LIFE IS ALSO FUN. (April 26, 2020)

"No real updates, but I did play some video games and watch JaidenAnimations's new video.

Paper Mario - I think my skills have rusted a little bit for some reason, though I managed to get through Mt. Rugged and Dry Dry Desert with little trouble. I even got the following badges hidden in Dry Dry Desert: Attack FX C, Spin Attack, and Runaway Pay. The reason I think my skills have rusted since the last time I've played (before yesterday, obviously) is because I wasn't paying attention to my HP, and I found myself in a battle with two Stone Chomps in Dry Dry Ruins a little while after getting the Super Hammer. I had 6 HP left out of 20 HP total, and I hammered one of the Stone Chomps and used Goombario to tattle on them. Then I missed both Action Commands for guarding both Stone Chomps, and I got a Game Over. I was so ticked off that I just turned the Wii off right then and there, especially because I didn't want to replay 10 minutes or so of the game just to get back to where I was. The worst part was the fact that I had plenty of Mushrooms, and I could've just had Goombario headbonk the Stone Chomp that I had hit with my hammer so I would only get hit by one. Then I could have healed with a Mushroom or a Super Shroom, and Goombario could've tattled on the remaining Stone Chomp. Oh well. You live and you learn. Again.

I say "again" because I already beat this game three times, including that time when I beat it 100%.

Tomodachi Life - This one was more than I expected as well. I tried to only include the important stuff. Anyway, my islanders donated $250.30 to me, and for the 10:00 news: Britney sets up a dating course for grown-ups on Brandon Island. Walkine says he feels like he could date anybody.

Morning Market sold crepes. I bought eight, along with 10 orange juices at the Food Mart. Also, Jaiden had a fight with Chase. I gave her some fish cakes to calm her down, and they made up. Jaiden then said that it makes her really happy when I take the time to come visit. I decided to play cards with Jaiden, and I won. My prize was an hourglass.

I gave Link a new catchphrase for leveling up, but due to the 16-character limit, I couldn’t think of any good catchphrases. Kayla also leveled up, so I gave her the natural wood interior.

I played Food & Treasure Pixel Quiz with Rel. I missed the last question, and my consolation prize was a roll of toilet paper.

Butt Munch became friends with Jaiden. He leveled up, so I gave him the tiled interior. After that, I bought a log cabin interior and all of the daily specials at the clothing shop.

When I went to play again at around 7:30, I made a new Mii named Emma. I also bought a mystery bag at the Night Market. My prizes were a tweed jacket, an industrial interior, and a silk blouse.

After I got back from the Night Market, I watched the evening Mii News: there was an issue of lost clotted cream going about. 17 cases have been documented, and authorities are telling people to take better care of their things.

I found Toast in love with both Brooklynn and Sam. I suggested he think about it more before he decides who to ask out. Also, Link and Dean became friends. I played cards with Link, and won. My prize was a toothbrush.

Jaiden leveled up, so I gave her a new catchphrase: “I hate reading,” in reference to JaidenAnimations’s two latest videos in real life.

I played Zoom Quiz with Tracy, and got all of the questions right. My prize was a vuvuzela.
