THE GUY WHO DELETED HIS SAVE FILE OVER A GAME OVER. THAT WOULD BE ME. (April 27, 2020)

Sixteenth post from the original blog.

"Yes, people, you read the title right: I deleted my save file in Paper Mario because of a stupid Game Over. I'm not even kidding.

Paper Mario - One of the things I like about Paper Mario is the difficulty curve. As the game progresses, the battles get more complicated, and they allow you to use many different strategies to beat the bad guys. Sure, the battles in Chapter 8 are obviously harder than those in Chapter 1, but your skill level based on experience and Star Points scales with the progress of the game.

Basically, I feel like if I just grind enough (but not too much, or else some enemies will stop giving Star Points altogether), I can play the game and never get a Game Over. Apparently I was wrong. I like to say I can beat Paper Mario without getting even one single Game Over, so I deleted my save file and started right from the beginning, so that way I could replay it and say I'd beaten it without getting a Game Over.

Maybe I'm acting a little bit ridiculous, but I was able to replay the game all the way through Chapter 2, and I got all of the badges and Star Pieces available so far. I only got one of the recipes for Tayce T., but I'm saving those for later (when I get access to every item needed to make every recipe).

Other than play Paper Mario, I also watched the rest of Good Morning Chia Lincoln. Personally, I like Good Mythical Morning more, but that's mostly because of the "Wheel of Mythicality" skits they do at the end of every episode.

My cousin Hailey came over this morning to babysit Sam, and later my grandparents and my uncle Andrew came over and brought us dinner. Grandma even made cookies, and I've already had two.

That's all for now. Have a good day."
