WHO KNEW TAKING NOTES ON VIDEO GAMES WOULD GIVE ME GOOD MATERIAL? (April 25, 2020)

Fourteenth post from the original blog.

"I mostly just played video games today, but it was a bit hard to enjoy myself because I was so bored. My schedule has been thrown completely out of whack recently.

Super Mario Bros. - I got to World 4-3 before I paused the game, but that was only because Sam wanted to watch Peppa Pig and didn't care that I was playing video games. She had that show on for four or five hours, and she wasn't even watching it half of the time.
Paper Mario - This is one of my favorite video games of all time. I started over on a new file, and I defeated all of the enemies in the prologue and Chapter 1, and I easily took down the Goomba King and the Koopa Bros. I also did the first two of Koopa Koot's favors.
Tomodachi Life - I took notes on this one so I would have a lot to talk about here, and it worked really well. Maybe too well.

Anyway, my first round was at around 10:00 AM. For Mii News, the headline was Britney's first errand. She completed her first errand alone, despite having her maturity be questioned even though she is 28. Food Mart had bacon and bubble tea as new food items on sale, so I bought some, along with some coleslaw.

My islanders donated $247.40 to me, and Morning Market had hash browns on sale, sold by Kayla. I bought a dozen or so.

Sophia revealed to be in love with Sean, but he was already going out with Mom. I made her sad by telling her so, but I gave her some fish cakes, a panini, a gauze dress, and a long-knit ribbon dress to make her happy again, though she didn’t like the gauze dress very much. Sophia also mentioned that Jer has been through a whole lot, but it’s not her business.

I played a game of Mii Facts with Oops. I got all the questions right, and my prize was a silver bracelet. Oops mentioned that he’s not a morning person, and also says that that’s putting it mildly.

Mark asked me what I think of him and Brooklynn, and I told him I think they’re a great match. I gave him some squid-ink spaghetti, which he loved. He leveled up, so I gave him the polka-dot interior. Mark said that lately he’s been checking to see if any new residents have arrived. In response to that, I made three new islanders: my adopted cousin Izzy, a tall, thin lady named French Fry, and my uncle Andrew.

Christian was taking a nap, and I caught him dreaming about falling into a hole and having his face bounce off. Then I played cards with French Fry, but I lost.

I gave my nine newest islanders (except Rhett, who ate pasta pesto) each a ruined meal that I had bought in bulk at the Morning Market previously, and as expected, none of them liked it. Then I bought some mandarin hats on sale at the Hat Shop.

The second round started at around 5:45 PM. I had to change the time forward one hour because it never did so for Daylight Saving Time. Anyway, Too Cute told me that he wants to be friends with Nate. I suggested they talk about something funny, and they became good friends. Too Cute leveled up, so I gave him the modern Asian interior. I also gave him some yakisoba, which he liked. He said that it’s not healthy to keep things bottled up, except for potions and fairies.

I scared the hiccups right out of Slim Jim, who was hungry for squid-ink spaghetti. I gave him the last of mine, and he loved it. Slim Jim then gave me some stomach medicine. He then said that when he tries to walk past someone, it always becomes a dance. They always step the same way.

I saw Toast rolling around on the floor, and when I went into his apartment, he told me that he got a strange letter. Someone wanted to meet him on the roof. I said he should go, and when he got there, Brandon (in disguise) asked Toast what he thinks of Brandon. Brandon himself denied that he is Brandon. When Toast got back, he said that he's glad he went, despite not knowing who that was. He also said it’s best to try at all kinds of things, even if you fail at some of them. As I left Toast’s apartment, he farted really loudly.

I called Rhett to his apartment from the beach, and he zoomed in. I gave him a ruined meal since he digested the pasta pesto, and as expected, he didn’t like it at all. Rhett then said that he feels like April is the start of something magical.

I called Link to his apartment from his part-time job, and he said he wonders what he’ll be doing 10 years from now. He figured it’ll be something awesome. I then gave Link some stewed beef, which he loved.

Night Market has opened, and I paid $50 for a mystery bag. My prizes were a pink gnome outfit, a black, brimmed woolly hat, and a potty. After that, I cashed in all of my treasures at the pawn shop and racked up almost $600.

I watched the rap battle between Britney and Sage, and Sage won. I went to Sage’s apartment to give her something for winning the rap battle, and she told me she’d like to eat something sweet. I gave her a fancy cupcake, and she really liked it. Sage then said that she has to win at everything; she doesn’t even know why, she just does.

I played a game of Mii Facts with Britney to make up for her losing the rap battle. I got all of the questions right, and I got a wind chime as my prize. After the victory, Britney said that meeting new friends can be really stressful.

Valerie said that she heard JaidenAnimations (referred to as Jaiden (with only her name, not the "Animations" part in-game due to the 10-character limit) wants to be friends, and I told her that I think that's a great idea. They didn’t really click, though.

Finally, I played Food & Treasure Shadow Quiz with TheOdd1sOut (referred to as TheOd1sOut (with only one "d" in there) in-game also due to the 10-character limit). I got all of the questions right, and I got a toothbrush as my prize.

Okay, that was a lot of material for Tomodachi Life. Next time I should probably cut back and only tell the important stuff."
