MY REACTION TO THE NEWEST PAPER MARIO GAMES (AS OF 2026)

I drew this comic in anticipation for the game Paper Mario: The Origami King. I usually get pretty excited when a new Mario game is announced, and that time was no exception. Granted, I didn't have rainbows and pink glittery goo come out of my face, and I will admit that the game was a slight letdown when I finally got it and played it, but I will say that I beat it on December 15, 2025. 

In case you are wondering, the last panel is a reference to Let Me Explain Studios' video, "I AM A YOUTUBER??". I did that on purpose.

I originally drew and posted the comic on June 10, 2020, but I updated the comic on April 27, 2025 to represent the remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door since I was way more excited about that than The Origami King by comparison. And believe me, the only thing that's even remotely a letdown as far as I'm concerned is the fact that you can't skip through text in the game, which is weird.
