MY REACTION TO THE NEWEST PAPER MARIO GAMES (AS OF 2026)

I drew this comic in anticipation for the game Paper Mario: The Origami King. I usually get pretty excited when a new Mario game is announced, and that time was no exception. Granted, I didn't have rainbows and pink glitter goo come out of my face, and I will admit that the game was a light letdown when I finally got it and played it, but I will say that I beat it on December 15, 2025. 

In case you are wondering, the last panel is a reference to Let Me Explain Studios' video, "I AM A YOUTUBER??". I did that on purpose.

I originally drew and posted the comic on June 10, 2020, but I updated the comic on April 27, 2025 to represent the remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door since I was way more excited about that than The Origami King by comparison. And believe me, the only thing that's even a slight letdown as far as I'm concerned is the fact that you can't fast-forward text in the game, which is really weird and a bit stupid.

BRANDON'S LIFE #2 - ALL EARS

Previous | Next The second issue in Brandon's Life, introducing a fictionalized version of my older brother, Chase. Granted, this isn't what he looks like at all; I just had to draw him as a pile of ears to make the joke work. Honestly, I don't know what I was thinking with this one. On a side note, the top of the door in the first panel (above the speech bubble) isn't colored in. I literally didn't notice that until just now, but I can't really change it because it would take more work than I'm willing to put in, mainly because of the way the .jpg file extension messes up .png images.
