I don't remember why I made this comic specifically, but if I had to guess, I'd say that it was because I had experienced a power outage in real life a few days before drawing this. The fact that Brandon's eyes appear to be glowing is just a gag I've seen in tons of cartoons.

Previous | Next The second issue in Brandon's Life, introducing a fictionalized version of my older brother, Chase. Granted, this isn't what he looks like at all; I just had to draw him as a pile of ears to make the joke work. Honestly, I don't know what I was thinking with this one. On a side note, the top of the door in the first panel (above the speech bubble) isn't colored in. I literally didn't notice that until just now, but I can't really change it because it would take more work than I'm willing to put in, mainly because of the way the .jpg file extension messes up .png images.
