MOM TOOK MY SENIOR PICTURES (April 22, 2020)
Twelfth post from the original blog.
"Sam's friends came over yesterday to play with her, while I got stuck doing chores with Mom. It wasn't very fun, but at least the house is a bit cleaner.
Today my cousin Hailey came over to babysit Sam, and I got more of a free break. Mom wanted to take pictures of me in the studio area (between the family room and the entrance to the house), and I figured I might as well do what she wanted. She's a photographer, but it's more of a hobby than an actual job because the money she used to get when it was her job wasn't enough for the time and effort she went into editing the pictures. So she just does it for family and friends, not random people.
Mom also took me to the country club's golf course so she could take pictures of me there, and they were awesome (according to Mom). We had to go right before sunset, when the light was "best" according to her.
I did play some video games over the two days since I last blogged.
Super Mario Galaxy - I got all of the available Power Stars in Beach Bowl Galaxy, Ghostly Galaxy (mostly), Buoy Base Galaxy, and Drip Drop Galaxy. I missed the Daredevil Comet on Ghostly Galaxy because I kept dying to Bouldergeist (as I only had one health point), and I didn't want to get a Game Over. I got the Grand Star of Bowser Jr.'s Airship Armada and the three main Power Stars of Gusty Garden Galaxy.
Kirby's Dream Land 2 - I beat Red Canyon and Cloudy Park, and I got all of the Rainbow Drops for Red Canyon, Cloudy Park, and Dark Castle. I tried playing the bonus minigames that you unlock after you beat the boss of a world, but my game froze during the Grass Land minigame.
Kirby: Squeak Squad - I tried playing the Extra Game twice, but both times I remembered that you can't save in between levels, so you have to basically play the entire game all in one go, which took me two hours the first time I did it.
Mario Kart Wii - I tried playing this yesterday with Sam's friend Luke (while Sam was playing with her other friend, Emma), who is six, but he didn't really know what he was supposed to be doing. I tried to show him how to play, but he didn't seem to get it, and just kept driving his kart in circles. I gave up after two races and suggested we just watch TV.
That's about it for this post. See you soon, and have a good day."
